Beta terms

Simple rules for using the beta.

Zokko is here to make tournament day easier. These terms set out the sensible ground rules while the product is being tested with real organisers.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. The Zokko beta

These terms apply while you use the Zokko organiser beta. Zokko is operated by Fairless Finds Ltd.

The beta is being provided so real tournament organisers can test the product and help improve it. Features may change, move, be added or be removed during the beta. The beta is currently provided without a Zokko software charge unless we clearly agree something different with you.

Beta means beta. Please test Zokko before relying on it for a live event and keep sensible fallbacks for tournament day.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information and keep your password secure. Your organiser account is for you and people you authorise to use it. Do not share your sign-in credentials publicly.

If you believe somebody has gained unauthorised access to your account, contact hello@zokko.co.uk.

3. The organiser remains responsible for the tournament

Zokko is a planning and matchday tool. The organiser remains responsible for the tournament itself, including fixtures and rules, venue arrangements, staffing, communications, safeguarding, eligibility, referee decisions, emergency planning and compliance with any league, county FA, FA or other rules that apply.

Check generated schedules and important information before publishing or using them. Software can help spot conflicts and recalculate changes, but it cannot know every real-world constraint at your venue.

4. Tournament entry-fee payments

If you enable tournament entry-fee payments, Zokko uses Stripe Connect so payments are processed directly on the tournament organiser's connected Stripe account. Zokko is not an escrow service and does not hold the tournament entry-fee pot on the organiser's behalf.

The organiser is responsible for setting the entry fee, deposit and balance terms, deciding when payment is due, communicating any cancellation/refund policy, and making appropriate refund decisions. Stripe's own connected-account and payment terms also apply to the organiser.

Zokko may deduct a clearly disclosed platform/application fee from successful payments. Stripe's processing fees are separate. Where an organiser issues a refund through Zokko, we can also return the related Zokko application fee; Stripe's original processing fees may not be returned.

Payment status shown in Zokko is provided to help reconcile registrations. The organiser should use Stripe's records as the financial source of truth if there is ever a discrepancy.

6. Matchday and safety

Zokko can display scores, delays, announcements, referee information, first-aid alerts and other matchday information. These tools support organisers; they are not emergency or safeguarding services.

Do not rely on Zokko as the only way to call for emergency, medical or safeguarding help. Maintain the real-world procedures, people, phone access and emergency arrangements appropriate for your event.

Free-text notes should not be used for medical histories, safeguarding records or other highly sensitive personal information.

7. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Notice explains how Fairless Finds Ltd handles organiser account, feedback, analytics and service information.

If you enter personal information about coaches, referees, volunteers, players or other people, you are responsible for having a lawful and appropriate reason to use it. Enter only what is genuinely needed to run the tournament and avoid unnecessary information about children.

You instruct Zokko to process tournament information for the purpose of providing the service. We will not sell that information or use private tournament contact data for unrelated marketing.

8. Availability, changes and backups

We aim to keep Zokko available and reliable, but during beta we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Internet access, browsers and third-party hosting services can also fail.

Use the available download/print tools and keep an appropriate paper or offline backup for anything you would need to continue running the event if connectivity is lost.

We may carry out maintenance or make changes that temporarily affect availability.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Zokko to:

  • break the law or infringe another person's rights;
  • upload malicious code, probe security or interfere with the service;
  • attempt to access another organiser's account or private tournament information without permission;
  • store content you have no right to use;
  • use Zokko as a repository for unnecessary highly sensitive personal information.

10. Zokko and your content

Zokko, its software, design, branding and product materials belong to Fairless Finds Ltd or its licensors. These terms give you permission to use the beta; they do not transfer ownership of the software.

You keep ownership of the tournament content you enter. You give us the permission needed to host, process, display and transmit that content solely to operate, secure and improve the service in line with these terms and the Privacy Notice.

Feedback is welcome. You may suggest improvements freely, and we may use those suggestions to improve Zokko without owing a fee or royalty.

11. Ending beta access

You can stop using the beta at any time. We may suspend or end access where necessary for security, misuse, legal reasons, or if the beta is closed or replaced.

Where reasonably possible, we will try to give notice of a planned beta closure or major change that affects access to stored tournaments.

12. Important limits

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to that, Zokko is a beta software tool and is not a substitute for the organiser's own checks, judgement, backups, safeguarding arrangements or emergency procedures. Fairless Finds Ltd is not responsible for tournament decisions made by organisers, the accuracy of information entered by users, or failures caused by internet connectivity or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

If Zokko later becomes a paid service, the commercial terms and any appropriate liability limits will be reviewed before paid plans launch.

13. Law and contact

These beta terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Questions? Email hello@zokko.co.uk.

We may update these beta terms as the product changes. We will make material changes reasonably clear to active beta users.
